The scaffolding formwork clamp is a special clamp used to fix the formwork on the scaffolding. Its main function is to ensure that the formwork maintains a stable position and shape during the construction process such as concrete pouring. In construction, the formwork is a mold used to shape the appearance of concrete components, and the scaffolding formwork clamp can firmly fix the formwork on the scaffolding to prevent the formwork from being displaced, deformed or loosened when bearing the weight, impact force and vibration force of concrete, thereby ensuring the dimensional accuracy and appearance quality of the concrete components.
Structural features
Clamping mechanism:
Screw type:usually composed of a screw,a nut and a clamp. The screw passes through the hole on the clamping plate, and the distance between the clamping plates is adjusted by rotating the nut to achieve clamping of the formwork. The advantage of this structure is that the clamping force is large and stable, and it can withstand large external forces. For example,in the fixation of large concrete column formwork, the screw-type formwork clamp can provide sufficient clamping force to ensure that the column formwork will not deform during concrete pouring.
Eccentric wheel type:The principle of eccentric wheel is used to achieve clamping.During operation,by rotating the eccentric wheel, the clamp generates a clamping force in the direction of the template. This type of clamp has a fast clamping speed and is easy to operate. It is suitable for small templates or temporary fixation situations where the clamping force requirements are not particularly high. For example,in the template fixation of some small prefabricated components, the eccentric wheel clamp can quickly complete the template fixation.
Hook type:The clamp is provided with a hook, and the hook is matched with the slot or other fixing structure on the template to achieve rapid clamping. This structure is simple, and the installation and disassembly speed is fast.It is often used in some template systems with special connection requirements. For example,in some modular templates, the hook type clamp can easily connect the templates of different modules together.
Connecting parts:
In order to connect the clamp to the scaffolding, there is generally a special connection structure. Some template clamps are connected to the crossbar or vertical pole of the scaffolding through the hook or slot on the clamp body. For example, the hook on the clamp can be hung on the crossbar of the scaffolding, and then the template is clamped between the clamp and the scaffolding to achieve the fixation of the template on the scaffolding.
Some formwork clamps use bolts or other connectors to fix the clamps directly to specific parts of the scaffolding to enhance the stability of the fixation.
Material characteristics:
The main part is usually made of metal materials, such as carbon steel or alloy steel.Carbon steel has a lower cost and can meet general strength requirements;alloy steel has higher strength and toughness, and is suitable for large, heavy formwork or construction environments with high requirements for clamp performance.
The clamping plate may be wrapped with cushioning materials such as rubber or plastic to prevent damage to the formwork surface during clamping, while increasing friction and improving the clamping effect.
Type
Plane formwork clamp:Mainly used to fix flat formwork, such as wall formwork, floor formwork, etc. The clamping plate of this clamp is usually flat, which can effectively fit the formwork surface and provide uniform clamping force. In the wall formwork fixation, the flat formwork clamp can be fixed at multiple points along the edge and middle of the wall to ensure the flatness and verticality of the wall formwork.
Column formwork clamp:specially designed for fixing cylindrical formwork. Its clamping plate may be arc-shaped,or multiple adjustable clamps may be used to adapt to the circumferential shape of the cylindrical formwork. The column formwork clamp can form a ring-shaped clamping force around the cylindrical formwork when clamped to prevent the column formwork from bulging or deforming during the concrete pouring process.
Special-shaped formwork clamp:used to fix irregularly shaped formwork, such as arched, broken line and other special-shaped formwork in buildings. This type of clamp usually has strong flexibility and adjustability, and can be adjusted and fixed according to the specific shape of the formwork. For example,in the fixing of some building facade formwork with artistic shapes, the special-shaped formwork clamp can adapt to the complex formwork shape by combining different clamping parts.
Installation and use points
Pre-installation inspection:Before installing the scaffolding formwork clamp, check whether the various components of the clamp are intact, including whether the screw and nut of the clamping mechanism can rotate normally, whether the eccentric wheel is flexible, and whether the hook is damaged. At the same time, check the adaptability of the connecting parts to the scaffolding to ensure that the clamp can be firmly connected to the scaffolding.
Template positioning:Before installing the clamp, the template should be correctly placed on the scaffolding to ensure that the position and angle of the template meet the construction requirements. For templates that need to be spliced, ensure that the splicing is tightly fitted, and then use the template clamp to fix it.
Clamping operation:Perform the correct clamping operation according to the type of clamp. For screw-type clamps, use a suitable tool(such as a wrench)to rotate the nut, gradually increase the clamping force, and observe whether the template is evenly clamped to avoid partial over-or under-clamping.For eccentric wheel clamps, pay attention to controlling the force when turning the eccentric wheel to ensure that the clamping force is moderate. For hook-type clamps, ensure that the hook is completely stuck in the template's slot or fixed structure.
Inspection and adjustment:After the clamp is installed, check the fixation of the template. You can check whether the clamp is firmly clamped by gently shaking the template, and check whether the position of the template has changed. If the template is found to be loose or offset, adjust the clamp's clamping force or re-fix the template in time.
Regular inspection and maintenance:During the construction process, the status of the scaffolding formwork clamps should be checked regularly.Especially after key construction stages such as concrete pouring, check whether the clamps are damaged by external impact, whether the clamping mechanism is loose, etc. If problems are found, repair or replace the clamps in time to ensure the stability of the formwork and construction safety.
